I know, we have been back from Mexico for 2 weeks and I haven't posted anything yet...get off my back! :)
Mexico was great. I wouldn't say it was relaxing, but it was really fun. The boys had a blast. They LOVED the beach. We found this great little beach that was perfect for kids and went there almost everyday. Kam and Ky could just put on their life jackets and swim in the ocean or ride the waves. Kamden got really good at body surfing. He would swim out and ride the wave all the way into shore. Tyce discovered early on that sand doesn't taste as good as it looks, and after the first day he pretty much kept it out of his mouth.
Our room was perfect for our family, it had a bedroom and lseparate living room and a full kitchen. It was so nice to be able to feed the boys in the room and not having to go out every meal. Our hotel was built into a cliff and to get anywhere was up or down hill, but the resort had golf carts (which were very timely and efficient, I might add) that took you everywhere you needed to go. Kam and Ky LOVED riding in the carts and midweek discovered that they could ride in the front with the driver. All the drivers loved the kids and were so good to them. Brad was in heaven being able to speak spanish everywhere and Kamden decided that he speaks better russian...since he didn't understand spanish (he is always talking gibberish and calling it spanish)!
Brad and the boys' favorite thing to do at the beach was go looking for crabs. They would climb all over rocks that had crabs everywhere. The second we got to the beach Ky Ky would say.."go find crabs, go find crabs"..and would't stop saying it until Brad obliged.
We really couldn't have asked for a better vacation with the kids. Although I told Brad when we got home that I need a vacation to recover from my vacation...it is true what my mom says.."when you bring the kids it's a trip, when you leave them at home its a vacation!"
