So where to start...
Thanksgiving was great. As usual we spent it with the Hartley's and we attended the annual Hartley Thanksgiving Bowling tournament. Kam and Ky had fun bowling and Tyce had fun eating french fries and doughnuts! Brad looks forward to this bowling match every year and I think after this year Kam and Ky will too. We ate at the Hartley's and had 25+ family and friends there so it was kind of crazy, but fun to see some of the family we don't get to see very often...and I will never complain about getting a chance to hold and hog my newest Niece! Here are a few pic's from bowling.
We have also kind of started a new tradition in my family where we have "thanksgiving" the Sunday BEFORE Thanksgiving. It is great because ALL the family is always there and we get two awesome dinners. My mom just loves having us all together and is smart enough to realize that it is not the date that matters! We even did the whole "go around the table and say what you are thankful for". You never know what is going to pop out of someones mouth at the Nelson table...although it was determined that I am the favorite sibling (well deserved, I might add).
So I just HAD to post this picture because I thought it was hilarious! My friend Amy got Ky this stuff for his birthday...cowboy hat and all! He was playing all morning like this the other day. Could he be more getto?! Notice my shoes, the gun holster, his pj shirt with awesome coordinating shorts and that shaggy hair under the cowboy hat. I mean to take that kid to Texas and I am sure he would fit right in on the range. This kid cracks me up. The other day him and Kam were wrestling and Kam swatted Ky on the bum and Ky came running up to me and he said "MOM. Kam spanked my cute bum!" It was so funny, cuz I always say that to him like when we play the chasing game I'll say "you better run or I am going to spank that cute bum of yours". Good stuff.
More to follow soon, but I gotta go be a mom right now...imagine that.
