We did lots of fun stuff this year before Christmas to get in the Christmas spirit.
The boys are at the age where they love to do any thing crafty (sure wish I was better at that stuff cuz they eat it up!). Brad made a gingerbread house with Kam and Ky one evening. They each got to decorate a side and they could do whatever they wanted. They had so much fun. Tyce was sleeping at wasn't in on the action (trust me it was better that way), but when he woke up and saw it he decided it was his mission of the holiday season to eat every piece of candy off it. It didn't matter where we put it, or hid it, he would find it and eat it. He was one determined little sucker. We would find him with a chair pushed up against the cupboards, standing on the counter eating candy off the gingerbread house high in the cupboard. It was like a game for him and I would defiantly say he won.
We did let Tyce in on decorating cookies and he thought he was such a big boy. It is fun to see them all really try to do it right. It is much more fun to do stuff like that together because I know everything won't immediately end up on the floor, on their clothes or in their hair (notice is said "immediately" because eventually it DOES happen).
For the first time ever this year we took the boys to see the lights at Temple Square. It was cold, but fun. They all loved walking around and seeing the millions of lights everywhere. Brad's dad joined us for most the evening too, and the boys always love getting to see papa. I was amazed we made it through the whole night with out losing a kid even for one second! It will defiantly become a new family tradition I think.
Tyce looked so cute all bundled up...like a little marshmallow.
So that is all I have time for, for now. I know you will all be waiting with baited breath for my next post.
