Choices

So Kamden and I have been talking a lot lately about making good choices. The other day he was about to make a "bad choice" and remebered right before taking a toy away from his brother that he wasn't supposed to do that and he stopped....(a very proud mom moment for me!). He promply came up to me and said "mommy, I remembered and made a good choice!" I gave him a high five and gave him a hug and told him how proud of him I was and made a big deal out of his decision making. Apparently he liked all that attention, because for the next hour he would pretend to "almost" make a mistake (like rearing his arm back to punch his brother) and then he would stop and say "mom I remembered and make a good choice!" After about 10 "good choices" I began to lose my enthusiasm, but he just kept going. He is such a sweet boy and I love that he loves making me happy!
